Atlogus has partnered with ESC on a number of next-generation Terminal Automation Projects in Europe - including Euromax in Rotterdam, APMT in Zeebrugge and IPC in Ashdod, Israel. Our industry experts are retained to provide Project Management, Business Analysis, System Design and Implementation services. Primarily we have been involved in the development of integrated Terminal Operating Systems. From driver interaction via pedestals, OCR, video and audio systems at the gate, through traffic control subsystems, onto the control of equipment exchange between trucks and automated carriers and the stacks and vessels. With the requirements of heightened maritime security uppermost in many of the design aspects, we have been instrumental in the application of leading edge biometrics and personnel accreditation techniques to ensure the maintenance of required personnel access to the terminals and equipment.

 Matson Navigation Company

Matson retained Atlogus to provide highly experienced transportation system consultants to assist in the development of enterprise level Transport Management Systems. Our resources are involved in the detailed analysis of User requirements, the specification of the systems at a functional and technical level, and the implementation of the systems as modules are developed, tested and rolled out.

Our consultants rapidly gained the confidence of the end users as a result of their detailed intermodal system knowledge. Our style of interaction - ensuring that we integrate with our client's own culture and environment - makes our resources extremely productive from the beginning of an engagement. Our experience allows us to work at the lower transactional level of system design, as well as ensuring that systems are developed within the framework of a cohesive higher level technical strategy. Underpinning the system design is an extensive knowledge of the business processes involved, and our consultants often contribute to process review and redesign initiatives.

Matson Navigation Company is one of the leading U.S.-flag carriers operating in the Pacific, with a longstanding reputation for quality service in the transportation industry.

Delmas and Cap Gemini

In early 2003 Delmas were looking for integration partners that could assist their All-In project team to implement iQ-Ship, a state-of-the-art back office system for their liner shipping business. Atlogus and Cap Gemini with their combined strength in software analysis, design and engineering were natural choices for Delmas.

Speaking from Delmas' global headquarters in Paris, France, Yves Perrin Delmas' CEO, explained how Atlogus' background in the liner shipping industry was vital in their selection. "Atlogus has the in-depth experience of many different trade lanes, business processes, and solutions for international transportation. This experience and their innovative approach to our project has been a key aspect of the success of All-In".

When Cap Gemini were approached by Delmas to fulfil the role of integrators and developers of the All-In project, they were keen to leverage their proven software development methodology and bring their existing shipping experience to bear. "Working with Atlogus allowed us to rapidly absorb Delmas' requirements and bring our own people up to speed much more quickly", says Nicolas de Taeye, Cap Gemini's Sales Director . "Their experience with the shipping industry, offshore development, and the quality of their personnel have provided tremendous added value to our mutual Customers. As a result of the success of the All-In project, we are happy to have extended our involvement with Atlogus on the Delmas project and with other major Carriers around the world".
